Become a friend of Musculoskeletal Australia

Dr Les Koadlow, Alice Petty and Mollie Riches began the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria in 1968 with the underlying value of ‘real people helping real people’. From this very early beginning, people have been the heart of our organisation.

As we celebrate our 50th year of service we invite you to become a Friend of Musculoskeletal Australia (MSK).

You can help us represent the more than 7 million Australians who live with arthritis, back pain, osteoporosis and other musculoskeletal conditions.

Anyone can become a Friend of MSK – whether you live with a musculoskeletal condition, care for someone who does, work in the health sector, or would just like to learn more and make a real difference.

The more friends we have the more we can:

  • raise awareness of the impact of musculoskeletal conditions on everyday Australians
  • advocate on behalf of people living with these conditions to government and policy makers
  • generate discussion and debate so that these painful conditions no longer remain in the background
  • promote our services such as the MSK Help Line, information resources, education and peer support groups.

As a Friend of MSK you’ll receive our regular eNewsletter ‘News from Around the Joint’, which will keep you up-to-date with our work, research, upcoming events and more.

Becoming a Friend is easy. For just $20 a year you’re on your way to helping us support people for better musculoskeletal health.

Simply contact us today on 1800 263 265 or email Or you can fill in the webform below and continue with the donation.

As well as becoming a Friend of MSK you can support us in other ways:
