Do you have fibromyalgia? Join us for this free webinar as rheumatologist Dr Emma Guymer provides information on this common, yet poorly understood condition.

Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a common, but generally poorly understood condition. If you’re living with FMS you may sometimes feel overwhelmed when managing the impact of your condition. Perhaps you may also feel that others don’t understand what you’re going through and how your condition impacts your life. This can make the experience of day-to-day life difficult.

In this webinar, Dr Emma Guymer will discuss the clinical features of fibromyalgia and its triggers, as well as how fibromyalgia is managed. The discussion will include ways to help you take control and play an active part in the management of your health and wellbeing.

Emma Guymer is a rheumatologist with a professional interest in general rheumatology and fibromyalgia. She is head of the Fibromyalgia Clinic at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, Melbourne and has been involved in rheumatology and fibromyalgia clinical care and research for the past 18 years, both in Washington DC, USA and in Melbourne. She is particularly interested in the interaction between psychology and pain.
